Welcome to the BIFM & ARK Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Register for Facilities Management. This is a collaborative project of the BIFM Research Information & Knowledge Committee (RIKCo).

This KPI Register is a joint venture between the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and ARK e-management Limited (ARK). Its purpose is to provide BIFM members, and the FM community at large, with a comprehensive list of Services, Activities and metrics for measuring performance used in managing facilities services.

The logic and content of the Register was initiated by ARK and approved by a review panel from the RIKCo. The resultant hierarchy of the KPI Register is arranged as follows:

Service Line				:	The heading for each FM service described
	Activities			:	The range of activities grouped within a Service Line
		Context		:	The context for each metric against the activity
			Metrics	:	The range of ‘granular’ indicators
